The owners have begun a restoration process for the small cabin on the property and will dedicate it as a memorial to all the enslaved persons who toiled under the yoke of bondage on Chantilly Plantation. The hope is to open the cabin for the public to tour within the coming year. Yes, we realize the history of Chantilly has a dark blot upon it ,but the hope is that in perserving the history of all persons we never again repeat past transgressions.
